Past Projects:
Developed a comprehensive regulatory Human Resource Information System (rHRIS) at regulatory agencies in Kenya & Zambia with funding from the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and implemented by Emory University and the Task Force for Global Health. The rHRIS is a suite of open-source web-based tools for the health professional regulatory agencies that are customer-focused, collaborative, and based on identified business processes. The agencies use the rHRIS to accredit and regulate the training and practice of the HRH through regulation of the course of professionals and health facilities.
Extended the regulatory Human Resource Information System (rHRIS) developed and implemented by the Emory University Kenya Health Information System Program to NASCOP to establish a Quasi-regulatory system for HIV Testing and Counselling (HTC) Service Providers, Mentor Mothers, adherence counsellors and other lay cadres.
We are contracted by a Health IT project through the University of Nairobi Enterprise Services to provide consulting services for the Provision of KenyaEMR Deployment Services at the Facility Level. The services included – Installation of the KenyaEMR OpenMRS package on the provided servers and ensuring relevant modules are accessible to each department member with appropriate access controls; conducting capacity building at the health facility while managing business process changes.; Aligning KenyaEMR to the facility patient flow.; Documenting systems issues and forwarding to HealthIT and County EMR teams for resolution; Ensuring effective use of the system at the facility. Developed new and interactive websites for the eight regulatory boards in Kenya

Past Projects
Develop and implement a mobile health application for health care providers in cardiovascular care to facilitate CVD guideline dissemination, implementation, adoption and meaningful use. Developed a mobile money payment solution for the eight regulatory boards to allow a health professional to apply and pay for the services through mobile money and other methods of payments
Interoperability/Integration
Experience in developing and implementation integration technologies using international standards, e.g. FHIR, HL7 e.t.c.
Past Projects:
Collaborated with other partners in Kenya to develop a comprehensive rHRIS interoperability framework to like the HRH data with other identified HIS. Linked the developed rHRIS to iHRIS and other identified HIS at the HIV high burden counties and SDIPs to share HRH and HIV programming data elements. We developed a national HRH web services engine to expose the approved HRH data elements and enable integration of exiting HRIS systems to other systems within the Ministry of Health.
